About Me
My first camera was a “Zenit-E” SLR back in the mid 1980’s.
It produced some excellent quality images to which I still look through to this day.
The next camera I owned was a Canon EOS SLR.
I still use Canon some twenty years later as I find them extremely reliable, and the range of lenses and accessories is second to none.
My main photographic subject was motorcycle racing, shortly followed by civilian aviation. This then included military aviation which involves many hours sitting on mountain tops in Wales. As expected, a visit to Wales is another photographic opportunity for landscape shots. As with the military jets, hours pass by waiting for ideal conditions to capture the moment.
Wildlife photography is another passion. Nothing compares to capturing beautiful creatures in their own environment.
Over the past few years, I have taken my photography to another level. Hours of studying has seen me gain a Diploma in Wedding and Portrait Photography, and recently I achieved my “Licentiateship” Distinction with the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS), which is regarded as one of the highest recognised photographic groups in the world.
